Dr Sabina Belli

Sabina Belli, PhD AE, is a research grant development specialist, and skilled academic writer and editor. She is a former life sciences researcher with 15 years of experience in the higher education sector. She is the recipient of the Australian Museum University of New South Wales Eureka Prize for Scientific Research and UTS Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Award for Research Support (team entry).
Dr Belli works collaboratively with individuals, teams of researchers, and research managers in the higher education sector and local health districts to develop and write competitive research grant proposals for submission to government and philanthropic organisations including, but not limited to, the ARC, NHMRC, MRFF and TRGS. She has contributed to the development of over 300 grant proposals and has empowered researchers to write grant applications strategically, clearly and confidently. She has helped secure more than $30 million in research funding.
Dr Belli is an IPEd accredited editor (AE) and a certified editor with the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (USA). She is a member of the Australian Society for Research Management and Franklin Women, and a professional member of the Institute for Professional Editors (Australia and New Zealand).
