Professor Denise Meredyth
Professor Denise Meredyth is an experienced research leader with an outstanding research track record in education, history, cultural studies and public policy. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at RMIT School of Media and Communications.
Denise has extensive knowledge of the Australian higher education research and funding landscape and a deep commitment to supporting the achievement of research excellence and impact.
From 1996 to 2012 she contributed to securing collaborative grant funding of more than $5 million including multiple ARC Discovery, Linkage and LIEF Grants, international awards, grants from state and commonwealth government departments, industry and not for profit agencies. She was also a Chief Investigator and RMIT node leader for the ARC Centre of Excellence in Creative Industries and Innovation.
Denise is experienced in strategic planning, organisational change, research leadership and curriculum innovation. Her leadership experience includes the following roles and appointments
