Workshops can focus on any aspect of scholarly writing and publishing. Offerings are tailored to the needs of your group and to your discipline mix.
Publishing for Impact Workshop
This workshop presented by Dr Amanda Lawrence, will look at how to increase the impact of your research beyond academia by publishing strategically for key audiences in diverse formats such as reports, briefings, discussions papers, making submissions etc. Strategic research publishing requires an understanding of your target audiences and the use of professional publishing standards and content management.
Publishing for ERA Workshop
This two-hour workshop provides an overview of how ERA2018 worked to assess FOR codes and areas in order to consider:
• How researchers/research directors/managers can consider ERA2023 in their publication
choices and strategy;
• Thematic alignment of research areas and strengths (the Explanatory Statement) and how to
shape and curate groups of research;
• How best to present NTROs – planning for and preparing Research Statements, Portfolios, etc.
• Considering the new ANZSRC codes and how to use them.
