Assoc Prof Debra Panizzon
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Debra Panizzon is Science, Mathematics and STEM education enthusiast in the higher education and school sectors. Currently, she is an Associate Professor (Adjunct) at Monash University and Research Analyst for the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia. In this role she designs and undertakes research that informs teacher education policy.
Her broad research interests include cognition and learning, developmental-based assessment, learning progressions, and teacher professional growth. She holds an extensive publishing record and has presented at highly prestigious international and national research conferences as a keynote speaker and researcher.
Debra has achieved significant success with Australian competitive grants and consultancies resulting in opportunities to collaborate with a range of educational stakeholders in New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
