Shannon is the Administrative Officer with Outside Opinion and has extensive experience in the academic research environment. As a research assistant for 8 years across La Trobe University and The University of Melbourne, she contributed to multiple research projects and publications.

As an organised Laboratory and Research Co-ordinator for over 5 years, she was responsible for the laboratory management for a research group consisting of Post-Doctoral Researchers, PhD, Masters & Honours students. In this role at The University of Melbourne, she also provided administrative support to an Academic Research Professor and her awards program.

She has completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours - Biochemistry) from La Trobe University, with Honours in Biochemistry. She continues to have an interest in biomedical research and a passion for engaging with researchers & professionals from a broad range of fields.
