Dr Meredith Tavener (PhD, FHEA) is a qualitative strategist and methodologist whose work delves into the why and the how of health behaviour to help effect positive change. Meredith has over 25 years of experience as a qualitative health researcher, conducting and advocating for authentic qualitative research as an integral part of implementation science. Her work builds on the importance of data and numbers to give context to the people that healthcare professionals are trying to help. Meredith has established an international and national reputation for rigorous and mindful approaches to interpretive research, and ethical approaches to participant involvement.
An awarded educator, Meredith’s experience and expertise covers coordinating and delivering innovative online courses in qualitative health methods, consultancy services in qualitative methods capability building, mentoring in research design and conduct and design and review of qualitative / mixed methods research proposals.
