Veronica has over 20 years’ experience in the health and medical research sector and has held senior executive management positions in Government (Cancer Institute NSW) and the not-for-profit sector (Barts Charity, Queensland Children’s Hospital Foundation). After completing a PhD in Molecular Genetics, Veronica transitioned to a career in research management which began at the Wellcome Trust in London. She has implemented several health and medical research programs across a range of organisations in the UK and Australia.
In 2021 Veronica formed Research Collective - a specialist consultancy offering support for researchers and research organisations in the areas of strategy development, high level project management and impact reporting.
Veronica's skills and expertise include the development, implementation, and management of health and medical research grant operations, grants peer review and change management.
Veronica also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
