Prof Ruth Bridgstock

Professor Ruth Bridgstock is an experienced leader and practitioner, and a distinguished scholar in education. She specialises in educational strategy, curriculum and pedagogy design and development, educational reviews, and educator capacity building.
Ruth possesses distinctive capabilities relating to graduate employability, development of 21st century skills, and industry partnered pedagogies. Her expertise also includes online and blended learning approaches and micro-credentials.
She has experience working across higher education, school, vocational education and training sectors, and in professional learning contexts.
Ruth is Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, TEQSA Expert, AAUT Award winner, and Australian National Senior Teaching Fellow. She has achieved significant success in Australian competitive grants and industry and public sector funding, and is a highly cited author of educational research outputs.
Some recent leadership roles include Director of Curriculum and Teaching Transformation at Griffith University, and Dean Academic in the Division of Education Arts and Social Sciences at the University of South Australia.
