Dr Rebecca Awdry
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Dr Awdry, PhD, has worked within Higher Education for almost two decades. She is an expert in academic quality, policy and integrity. Having worked in four different countries, she has experience in applying different strategic perspectives to university quality processes. She has undertaken institutional policy reviews, new policy development and policy framework creation, as well as policy audits, mapping policies to external legislative requirements and internal strategic objectives. Dr Awdry has supported TEQSA re-registrations and new course accreditation work, assessing viability of course learning outcomes through a scaffolded approach to consider alignment down to assessment tasks and up to graduate outcomes and AQF levels.
She also has extensive experience in reviewing functions responsible for the student experience in universities, including consideration of complex case management processes to meet external legislation.
Dr Awdry has a PhD in Education and is an active researcher in the field of academic integrity, and has completed large-scale projects, as both a project member and project lead with both Monash and Deakin universities. She has experience in academic writing, workshop delivery, and staff training and development in her areas of expertise.
