Prof Michael Hess
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Professor Michael Hess is a distinguished scholar in Business, Economics and Labour History with an extensive record of publication in high impact journals. Michael has long standing research interests in economic development and community participation as well as in Business and Labour History. A major aspect of his research experience has been in the supervision of higher degree research candidates and mentoring younger academics.
Michael is a postgraduate course convener at the Research School of Management, Australian National University, in the MBA and Masters programs (2017-present). He was formerly a Professor of Business and Head of School, University of New South Wales, Canberra (2009-2013) and Professor in the School of Management at the University of Tasmania (2004-2008).
