Dr Chris K Wilson is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Centre for Social Impact at Swinburne University of Technology and the Design and Operations Manager for Outside Opinion. For almost 30 years he has been involved in planning and conducting interdisciplinary social research that engages concepts and methodologies drawn from economics, human geography, history, media studies, education, and policy studies.
Chris has worked on a number of ARC Discovery and Linkage projects as well as large-scale industry-funded research. Between 2017 and 2021 he was the principal Research Fellow for the Australian Digital Inclusion Index - a collaborative venture between Swinburne University, RMIT University and Telstra. He is currently engaged in applied research in the community care and social enterprise sectors.
Chris has substantial experience in developing and refining ARC and industry-engaged project plans. He takes an integrated approach to planning, drawing on his conceptual and methodological expertise as well as applied skills in developing project timelines and budgets.
