This workshop will address good publishing practices in Humanities across different formats including books, articles, chapters in books, and non-traditional research outputs. It includes some hands-on work in shaping several outputs and in setting up a research plan. It will also touch on the development or refinement of a research profile, current institutional parameters, quality measures, and working towards research with impact. By the end of the workshop participants will have established a research plan for strong research outcomes in the Humanities.

Joanne Tompkins has extensive experience with research and research development. She has received numerous ARC DP, LP, and LIEF grants, has been on the College of Experts, has served on the Humanities and Creative Arts panel for ERA in 2015 and is currently an international member of the Humanities panel of the UK’s REF assessment exercise.
