Workshops (blog style)

Outside Opinion offers a comprehensive range of workshops, mentoring programs and retreats on grant development, research and academic capacity building, strategic planning, writing and publishing and leadership across the higher education sector. 

All workshops can be tailored to focus on a specific grant scheme, discipline group or academic career stage.
Workshops may be run face-to-face or online, with breakout exercises and peer-to-peer engagement in either mode.

This workshop enables research students to build publication options into their PhD process and think about how publications can improve both the thesis, and their career and funding options post-PhD. The focus of the 2-hour workshop is on publishing in excellent journals, without compromising PhD progress.

Prof marie wilson

Professor Wilson has a track record of delivering in both industry and university leadership. In her former role (2013-2020) as leader of the UniSA Business School, she led the School in top level accreditations, international awards for innovation and student services, and repeated commendations for its enterprising research culture.
