Hitching Your Ideas to the ARC Wagon
Workshop
Presented by Prof Paula McDonald
An interactive seminar covering experience with the ARC Discovery, Linkage and Future Fellowship schemes. Topics will include the decision to apply; developing a project description and track record sections; negotiating research teams; trans-disciplinary approaches; and rejoinders. The seminar covers some of the important issues for academics to consider before, during and after the application process, as well as reflecting more broadly on the place of ARC grants in academic careers. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss their own ARC ambitions and struggles.
