Mikhaela Rodwell

Mikhaela Rodwell has over 10 years experience as a university research manager and creative arts project specialist, and has worked at Sydney College of the Arts at the University of Sydney, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney Contemporary art fair, and the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at the University of Technology Sydney.
Mikhaela specialises in creating career incubators and professional development programs for creative arts researchers, and working with individuals to identify new opportunities and networks that will advance their practice and research. Throughout her career she has developed and implemented strategies for improving the quantity and quality of traditional and non-traditional research output, for improving NTRO research statements and guidelines, for developing attractive, meaningful research training programs for HDR cohorts, and for increasing interdisciplinary engagement.
Mikhaela is also an experienced project manager and has an extensive network in the cultural and creative industries, having delivered several major research and creative arts projects with partners including the Australian Centre for Photography, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, Tarrawarra Museum of Art and the Powerhouse Museum.
